Illustrations for works of Marcel Proust, circa 1930-1933.

Includes: 43 prints: drypoint, etching, 20 x 14 cm. or smaller; and 53 drawings in graphite and colored pencil, 41 x 20 cm. or smaller. Consists of three sets of drypoints from ten plates illustrating Un amour de Swann, and drawings and proofs illustrating Un amour de Swann, A l'ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs, and Le côté de Guermantes. Materials created in Paris. The sepia set is number 7 of 35, the Rives set is number 22 of 35, and the set on rice paper is unnumbered; each of the three sets are in original paper folders with manuscript titles and colophons in ink by Zouzouline; the sepia and the Rives paper copies have ms. tables of contents; the rice paper copy has separate leaves of printed captions inserted. The drypoints for Un amour de Swann were published as a suite by Edmond Riga in 1931.
